Financial guidance for your goals, your values, and your path forward.

Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
Mary Oliver, “The Summer Day”

A financial plan should sound like you.

True North is not a destination, but a touchstone that guides you on your journey. At True North Wealth Collective, we understand that everyone has their own financial destination, and the route each person takes is deeply personal.

We believe your voice belongs at the center of your financial plan. Your values, priorities, family, community, and vision for the future all matter. That is why we create advice designed to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace of mind.

With decades of experience, we provide thoughtful insight into the road ahead—helping you make informed decisions about your financial goals, retirement, investments, and estate planning. Our role is to listen closely, ask meaningful questions, and build strategies that reflect not only where you want to go, but what matters most along the way.

Guidance for people who want to follow their own path.

We provide a welcoming, respectful space where clients can be true to themselves and make financial decisions that align with their lives. We know traditional financial services can feel one-size-fits-all, especially for people whose goals, identities, or values do not fit a standard template.

Shannon Clark, CFP®, Founder

Shannon didn’t just build a financial planning firm. She built the firm she wished had existed all along.

After decades in the financial industry, Shannon founded True North Wealth Collective on a simple belief: everyone deserves access to thoughtful, judgment-free financial planning. As a woman and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she has seen the quiet and not-so-quiet ways the financial world falls short for people who do not fit a traditional mold.

Why “Wealth Collective”?

Wealth Collective reflects our belief that strong planning is collaborative. We work with professionals inside and outside our firm to bring current, effective, and efficient solutions to complex financial situations. When your needs call for additional expertise, we help coordinate the right conversations so you do not have to navigate them alone.

From buying your first home to funding a child’s education, from a first job to retirement, from major transitions to final goodbyes, we are here to be a steady guide. If we do not have the answer right away, we will help find it, together.

  • Thinking Outside the Box · Part 1

Estate planning is not only about dying

Estate planning is not only about what happens after you pass away. It is also about who can step in while you are still here.

Take the journey with me: thinking outside the box

There is not one true way to reach your goals. A new series on making financial planning feel less like a set of rigid rules and more like a thoughtful conversation about choices.

    Changing their future

During the first days of the Pandemic, my eight-year-old asked me whether we would have enough to eat. Talking with your children about money in a hard season is a chance to change a money script before it is written.
